Top 5 Casual Games on iOS in Belgium - Q1 2022

In the first quarter of 2022, the top casual games on the iOS platform in Belgium exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Using data from Sensor Tower, we examine the performance of the top five games: Subway Surfers, Rocket League Sideswipe, Fishdom, Hay Day, and Royal Match.

Subway Surfers from Sybo Games ApS experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at around $273 and peaking at $1.1K in the last week of March. Weekly downloads showed a notable increase, reaching over 10K in the same week. The game also saw a rise in weekly active users, peaking at approximately 180.7K.

Psyonix LLC's Rocket League Sideswipe did not generate revenue but had a significant drop in weekly downloads, from about 19.6K at the start of the quarter to 984 by the end. Active users also declined, from nearly 99K at the beginning to around 40K by the end of March.

Fishdom by Playrix maintained a stable revenue stream, with weekly earnings ranging from $15.3K to $23.7K. Weekly downloads peaked at 6.1K in late March, and active users saw a gradual increase, ending the quarter at approximately 22.4K.

Supercell's Hay Day showed varied performance in revenue, starting at $11.5K and reaching up to $15.6K. Weekly downloads peaked at 4.7K in late February, while active users consistently increased, peaking at around 216.3K in early March.

Finally, Royal Match from Dream Games saw weekly revenue fluctuate between $12.8K and $19.9K. Weekly downloads peaked at 4.8K in mid-January, and active users remained fairly stable, ending the quarter at approximately 15.5K.
